I wasn't always a slip-on person, but it became my preferred style in the restaurant industry.
I worked for one of the "chain" concepts, as a cook, and cleaning flour off shoelaces wasn't fun!
So I eventually started buying slip/on slip-resistant shoes from Safetrax (K-mart) and "Shoes For Crews," among other brands, and loved the convenience of them away! No more pesky shoelaces, and I could just wipe 'em off and go!
